Barbados Cherry is a great tasting cherry loaded with vitamin C, about 80-100 times that of an orange, Cold tolerant to 32 deg, needs protection from freezing temps, may resprout from ground after freezing. Can be container grown and moved inside or protected during cold periods. Very attractive pink flowers followed by a bright red cherry when ripe, Barbados Cherry fruits for several months during the Summer and Fall. Barbados Cherry in a 1G size (6") 12"-18" tall. While Barbados Cherry can reach 20', most rarely exceed 10', the plant is suitable for container growing.
